Satakieli was launched exactly one year ago, on 30 January 2024. That makes our bird 1 year old.
From the very beginning, our aim has been to publish meaningful journalism for foreign-language communities in Finland. We have also aimed to bring public attention to issues that matter to these communities.
We have published dozens of articles in five different languages. They include articles about interesting personalities, challenges of living in Finland, current political issues – and much more.
To celebrate the birthday, we have curated some editorial picks from the year. From this article, you can find interesting articles to read in all languages Satakieli operates with. And don’t forget to share your personal favourites with your friends, for example in social media.
Thank you for being our reader. We will do our best to continue providing you with interesting and meaningful journalism.
